Kalmor Fungicide/Bactericide – Now registered in California!
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of of Kalmor® Fungicide/Bactericide through authorized OHP distributors.
Kalmor, part of OHP biosolutions™, is an OMRI-listed, copper hydroxide-based fungicide that is labelled for use on a range of vegetables and herbs grown in greenhouses, shadehouses, and nurseries, for control of many problematic fungal and bacterial diseases.
Available in an easy-to-use dry flowable formulation, Kalmor is labelled for control of alternaria, bacterial leaf spot, botrytis, cercospora leaf spot, downy mildews, fire blights, needlecasts, pseudomonas leaf spots, xanthomonas leaf spot, and other diseases.
Kalmor represents a superior copper hydroxide formulation comprised of smaller particles than other copper-based products, notes OHP Manager Technical Services Dr. Carlos Bográn. The smaller particles mean you need less product to do the same job as other copper products. Kalmor use rates range from 0.5 to 2.0 lbs. per 100 gal. of water.
Kalmor is effective against resistant strains of certain diseases, making it an ideal choice in an IPM program, adds Dr. Bográn.
As with any copper-based products, users should check compatibility with other products before tank mixing. Kalmor should not be tank-mixed with OHP’s Areca® Fungicide or other aluminum-based products.
Kalmor is a natural tank-mix partner with OHP’s Triathlon® BA Biofungicide/Bactericide for broad spectrum control of many troublesome fungal and bacterial diseases.
Kalmor is packaged in a 2.5 lbs. bag, four to a case. For availability, please contact your local distributor sales representative. Thank you for your support of our Kalmor launch.
