OHP's Terrazole L features improved formulation
We've added a new formulation of an established active ingredient to our product portfolio.
Terrazole® L, a new OHP product containing the active ingredient etridiazole, offers an easy-to-use formulation that won't clog spray filters and is low odor.
Pythium Root Rot on PoinsettiaGrowers will still see incredible pythium spp. and phytophthora spp. control with the new formulation, even on mefenoxamresistant strains of pythium.
In addition, golf courses can use Terrazole L for control of pythium on greens-grade tees and greens. Both ornamental and golf course applicators will notice that odor is reduced with the new formulation.
The product contains 4 pounds active ingredient per gallon versus 2 pounds per gallon for the leading competitive product. That means Terrazole L contains fewer solvents and ingredients that cause odor or clog sprayers. Greenhouse and nursery rates range from 2.5 to 7 fl. oz. per 100 gal. of water.
Growers should follow the volume ranges described in the label. If applied overhead with a boom-type application system, growers should make certain the product is washed off leaves and into the soil. Golf course rates are 1.5 to 3 fl. oz. in 2 to 5 gal. of water applied to 1,000 sq. ft.
Terrazole L is an excellent tank mix partner with OHP 6672™ for control of other diseases such as rhizoctonia and thielaviopsis. Terrazole L is available through authorized OHP distributors in most states. OHP will continue to offer Terrazole 35WP, the wettable powder formulation of etridiazole, for the near future.
